   WHO AM I

You want to know more about me? Oh, you’re so sweet.

I am a Virginian, born and raised. Overall my family has been quite nomadic, but we've always stayed in Virginia.

I received an education in Chesterfield County Public Schools, with the additional opportunity to attend a specialty center. My specialty center focused on the humanities. I was thoroughly exposed to many different cultures through means of literature, historical analysis, and art history. The Humanities program definitely prepared me well for college life, and life in general. I graduated on May 5, 2014, already knowing I had a place at Longwood University.

My original major was business because (even though I knew I would despise every class) I figured it was the safest path to a well-paying job. Before I could even sign up for one class, I abided by my grandfather's dying wish to "follow my passion" and switched to French.

I am fascinated by language and how it influences culture. My goal right now is to work in the field of translation or linguistics.

In my spare time, I am dreaming of my next tattoo, endless art galleries, and my future home full of kittens, puppies, and piglets.
